Chelsea Rowan is a screenwriter and director based in Chicago.
She graduated with an MFA in Cinema Directing from Columbia College Chicago in 2016. She has also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English - Literature from The University of New Haven.
Chelsea uses her stories to shine a light upon the nature of humanity in a way that shows each individual's importance. Existence is often individualistic, but through her work, Chelsea strives to create a life more universal through comprehension and acceptance of commonalities. Humanity thrives on coexistence, and through understanding everyone’s stories, it makes the sameness of like all the more fascinating and bearable.
She is currently writing full time while working on the post-production of two films.
